14 January 2023 – The year 2023 started with a great achievement when SpaceIn won MYStartup Hackhaton x DNG which was held at WORQ KL Gateway. There were 111 applicants for the Hackathon with diverse expertise and backgrounds.
MYStartup Hackathon, a national initiative under the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), is one of the best platforms for collaboration between corporates, emerging startups, and the public sector. The programme commenced on 6 Jan and came to a close on 14 Jan after a series of intensive masterclasses, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and boot camp.
We are proposing 5G NB-IoT NTN using a small satellite in low earth orbit to solve the connectivity problem. Still, a long way to go but we believe that we should start somewhere!
